Adventure begins at your library! The 2024 Adult Summer Reading Program begins Monday, June 3 through Friday, Aug. 2, 2024. This program is intended for adults ages 19 years and older. Signups begin Monday, June 3, but can be done at any time throughout the program duration. Sign up early for your best chance at winning prizes!

Participation guidelines

1. Complete the registration slip and place in the brown box on the Reference Desk or turn into one of our staff members at the Circulation Desk.
2.  Reading materials must be checked out from Timothy C. Hauenstein Reynolds Township Library. Materials include:
   
   1. Adult or teen books
   2. Adult or teen audiobooks
   3. Digital materials available through the Libby app, including eBooks and eAudiobooks (Adult or teen)
3. Record completed titles on the Treasure Map (PDF).
4. Show your Treasure Map to a library staff member to receive your raffle ticket(s). This can be done anytime throughout the program duration.
5. Write your name and phone number on your raffle ticket(s) and place in the prize jar of your choosing. 
   1. Prize jars are located in front of the Reference Desk. (You can view the prizes in the gallery case located in the front lobby of the library.)
   2. Only Mystery Spot raffle tickets may be placed in the PINK prize jar. (See "Mystery Spots" below to learn how to earn these special raffle tickets.)
6. You do not have to complete the Treasure Map, but if you choose to do so, you will earn five additional raffle tickets! Completed Treasure Maps must be returned to the Circulation Desk.

Mystery Spots

Mystery spots offer you a chance to earn a 43" Roku TV! To participate, visit the library and pick up a numbered glass bottle from the Reference Desk. Bring the bottle to the Circulation Desk and our staff will give you a "mystery" title to read. It's a mystery, because you don't know what title you will get! (Titles will not necessarily be a mystery genre.)

Prizes

All sheets must be turned in by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024. Raffle tickets for all prizes, including Mystery Spots, will be drawn on Monday, Aug. 5, 2024.
