
Summer Reading Program
Unearth a Story! Sign for the Summer Reading Program beginning Monday, June 1. This program is for all ages and abilities.
The Kids Reading Program ends July 16 (Carnival Day). To receive a bracelet for the Carnival, your child must complete all 6 weeks of our 2026 Summer Reading Program.
Picture books are recommended for ages 0-6 years. Reading logs are available to pick up in the Children's Area of the library. Limit one log per week, per child.
Checkout 7 books from the library. Read each book and record the book titles on the reading log. Show any staff member the completed reading log and collect a prize from the treasure chest!
Turn your completed reading log into one of the baskets in front of the prize you would like a chance to win. Don't forget to include your name and phone number.
Chapter books are recommended for ages 7-12 years. Reading logs are available to pick up in the Children's Area of the library. Limit one log per week, per child.
Checkout books from the library. Complete the weekly reading goal of 2 hours. You will unlock letters of the alphabet for every 5 min. of reading. Once you have reached the reading goal of 2 hours, use the letters to solve the riddle and color the dinosaur on the back side of the reading log.​

The Teen Reading Program is for ages 13-17 years. Reading logs can be picked up from the Teen Area table at the time of registration. Completed reading logs must include a full name and phone number.
Read books from the library and record the titles on the reading log. Show the log to library staff to receive a raffle ticket for each recorded title. Raffle tickets can be entered into a drawing for various prizes. (Tickets can be entered anytime throughout the program. The drawing will take place on Monday, July 20.)​​
The Adult Reading Program is for ages 18+ years. Reading logs can be picked up at the Reference Desk or Circulation Desk at the time of registration. Completed reading logs must include a full name and phone number.
Read books from the library and record the titles on the reading log. Show the log to library staff to receive a raffle ticket for each recorded title. Raffle tickets can be entered into a drawing for various prizes. (Tickets can be entered anytime throughout the program. The drawing will take place on Monday, July 20.)​
