War Dog Memorial

Join us from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Reynolds Twp. Library Program Center for a presentation by the Michigan War Dog Memorial. Learn about the extraordinary service and sacrifice of military and service dogs that have faithfully protected and served alongside their handlers. Representatives from the organization will share the history of the Michigan War Dog Memorial, its mission to educate the public about the heroics of working K-9s, and its ongoing efforts to restore and maintain a peaceful memorial park where retired Military Working Dogs and retired Service Dogs can be laid to rest with full honors at no cost to their handlers or owners. This informative program offers a meaningful opportunity to recognize the lasting contributions of these remarkable animals and the people who served with them. This FREE event is open to all ages.
