About the Event
The Friends of the Timothy C. Hauenstein Reynolds Township Library present an Upcycled Art Competition, taking place Apr. 2-4, 2026 at the Reynolds Township Library Program Center. This family-friendly event invites artists of all ages to transform discarded materials into unique works of art, showing how everyday items can be given new life through creativity while promoting sustainability and reuse.
The cost to enter is $10 per artwork, and the competition is open to all ages. Artwork, along with a completed artist’s statement, must be delivered to the Reynolds Township Library Program Center no later than Wednesday, Apr. 1. Community judging will take place Apr. 2-4, and winners will be announced on Apr. 4. The winner will receive $100. Detailed participation guidelines are listed below.

Entry fee is $10 per artwork
Artwork must be family-friendly
All portions of the artwork must be made from upcycled materials
