Join author and researcher Tony Wright, as he discusses his gripping new book Things Aren’t Right: The Disappearance of the Yuba County Five, on Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Community Room in the Timothy C. Hauenstein Reynolds Township Library.
On a cold February night in 1978, five men vanished in the remote mountains of Northern California. Days later, their car was found abandoned on a snowy road in the Plumas National Forest — 75 miles off course. Months later, four of their bodies were recovered under chilling circumstances. One was never found.
In this author talk, Tony walks through the bizarre timeline, the failed investigations, and the haunting questions that remain.
