About the Event
Spend a relaxing evening with fellow readers at the Fireside Book Club meeting on Monday, Nov. 9 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Reading Room at the Timothy C. Hauenstein Reynolds Township Library. This is an after-hours event for adults ages 18 and older; the library will be open to book club members only, and no library services will be available. The November selection is Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. Copies are available for checkout.
About the Book
Piranesi's house is no ordinary building: its rooms are infinite, its corridors endless, its walls lined with thousands upon thousands of statues. Within the labyrinth of halls an ocean is imprisoned; and waves thunder up staircases, while rooms are flooded in an instant. But Piranesi is not afraid; he understands the tides as he understands the pattern of the labyrinth itself. He lives to explore the house.
