About the Event
Join us on Wednesday, May 13 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Reynolds Township Library Program Center for a special presentation by fiber artist Elle DeKoster. For the past several years, Elle has been creating one-of-a-kind fiber art by transforming recycled newspaper into hand-spun yarn using a drop spindle. She then uses this unique material as the foundation for imaginative pieces, often crafting animals as well as frames, musical designs, maps, and more. Her work frequently incorporates unexpected found objects, resulting in creations that are both inventive and visually striking. Inspired by nature, creative challenges, and a love of problem-solving, Elle’s artistic style is whimsical, repurposed, and full of surprises.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Timothy C. Hauenstein Reynolds Twp. Library.
