About the Event
Join We Shall Read for a special Brain Friendly Reading event on Wednesday, Apr. 22, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Reynolds Township Library Program Center. Families will learn three simple, high-impact activities that children genuinely enjoy. These activities are designed to strengthen reading and spelling skills while building confidence. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how the brain learns to read, along with practical strategies they can begin using right away. The activities are fun for the whole family and help support lasting literacy growth at home.
The program is presented by Kristin Dwyer, author of the Brain Friendly Reading program and founder of We Shall Read, a Michigan-based 501(c)(3) literacy organization that sponsors trainings and provides free materials, and Jennifer Arnold, a retired teacher and certified Reading Interventionist through We Shall Read. This FREE event is open to parents and children. No registration is required.
